Important Student Loan Updates:

In March 2026, a federal court approved the settlement to end the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan. Borrowers enrolled in SAVE will remain in forbearance for now. Starting on July 1, federal loan servicers will begin issuing notices to borrowers, instructing them to exit the SAVE Plan and enroll in a different eligible repayment plan within 90 days. Borrowers need not wait to apply for a different payment plan, but processing times may be extended.

ED is also carrying out changes required under the budget reconciliation bill signed into law in July 2025, which made significant updates to federal student aid programs. While some provisions took effect immediately, others are still being finalized through the regulatory process, with implementation expected to continue in phases over the next several years. Additional guidance and updates are anticipated throughout 2026.

I don’t know where to beginning! Let’s start with the information that TSLHG provides; the competency and efficiency of their work with their clients. Anyone who is familiar with the difficulty of navigating student loans, the federal government, and/or loan servicers knows it can be defeating. The Student Loan Help Group is there to keep you sane. The services they provided me were worth far more then their rather modest fee. Their knowledge of how to negotiate the bizentine system of the student loan forgiveness system was worth every penny. They worked with me every step of the way, made sure all of the requirements were met and the forms filled out correctly. They were easy to reach, easy to talk to. Just had my loans forgiven, and it feels like such a weight lifted from my shoulders. It was a long process but worth the wait. The Student Loan Help Group was great to work with. They are consistently professional and very communicative throughout the process. If you were to try to navigate all the different loan forgiveness programs and all the paperwork needed to stay on the right track on your own, it can be very difficult and confusing. TSLHG make it super easy. They took care of EVERYTHING, and the process is very easy. I highly recommend using their services.

My applications kept getting denied or overlooked. Then my loans were sold to a new provider and time kept passing. Finally a friend recommended TSLHG and I set up an appointment. I did not hesitate and signed up to work with them. They took care of everything. I didn't have to spend endless hours on the phone waiting to talk to someone. All I had to do is provide them with the information they needed. It was the best decision I made. My loans were forgiven and I am so relieved.

Student Loans have followed me around for a very long time. I made monthly payments when I could afford to, and I was advised to put my account on forbearance until I could make regular payments. I paid $25,000 when my wages were garnished and the amount I owed did not go down, it went up! They often sold my loans from themselves TO themselves, making my credit report look like I had 24 student loans. My frustration with the major ding on my credit report made me seek out help. Now I have $112,000 off my back! This was the best investment I have ever made! They helped with the paperwork. I DO paperwork for a living and so many of these forms were so confusing and frustrating for me, but The Student Loan Help Group took care of all of it for me! I wish I had heard of them years ago!
